Just a reminder that all Tuesday’s from 4 pm on is Queen of Hearts Dory Club’s night that they row. No boats are permitted at the causeway after 4 PM.

JUNE 25th PROM NIGHT

On June 25 there will be prom pictures and video’s being taken in the afternoon until late evening. All racers are being asked to stay away from the causeway after 12 pm. If you go there and see the young teens and photographer’s present do not put your boat in the water please.

Strong westerly winds are forecast for the area and would not be race friendly in Shag Harbour. At the Causeway however West winds are much more favorable.

Hi there,

Just to update you and perhaps you can add this to the website. No parking signs will be posted on Hwy 3 Shag/Woods Harbour in the same places they were posted last year.

During this last boat race, people moved our cones on the causeway to park where they wished to park. Perhaps that can be noted as well. I don’t want to have to block parking on that entire side of the Causeway.

Just for your information, the school parking lot will be closed as I could not guarantee that people wouldn’t park on the lawn,

This would mean a boat must lose 3 times before being eliminated instead of the 2 times in double elimination.
